Samuel in the Quantum Field:
How One Boy's Holocaust Story Can Help Us Bridge Space, Time, and Everything in Between

The book follows the heartbreaking and inspiring journey of Samuel Szynder. A survivor of the Holocaust, Samuel traveled from his village in Poland through a maze of hardships before sailing to America to find his dream in Sioux City, Iowa. In these pages, Samuel's passage from near death to new life converges with the author's glimpses into "greater truths"--calling on quantum physics, astrophysics, history, philosophy, psychology and the natural world.

Elyn Joy provides myriad lenses through which to view the Holocaust, with Sam's story the thread binding it all together. We come away with the realization that history and life are always unfurling through our thoughts and choices, and that--as in the Quantum Field--everything and everyone are connected in ways we may not have even stopped to realize.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "It is one light which beams out of a thousand stars."
