Welcome!

Elyn Joy is a Denver-based author, speaker, and career educator. She works cross-genre and has penned works of whimsey, along with books meant to teach, uplift, guide, and cultivate transformation.

In 2024, Elyn was a keynote author and speaker for an audience of 2,200 students, teachers, and community leaders in Iowa. There, she shared her father's harrowing, yet hopeful, journey during the Holocaust using a multimedia, multi-discipline approach sprinkled with heart and humor. Elyn has worked with schools and museums developing curricula and helping cultivate themes of empathy and connection. She has written for magazines, blogs, and newspapers and held the position of principle writer for an international thought leader for close to two years.

Her book, Samuel in the Quantum Field, breaks the norms of typical YA literature by weaving memoir with science, sociology, history, and more. Elyn describes it as "a reading journey with built-in hyperlinks (no clicking needed)." The book was honored as a finalist at the 2024 American BookFest and is currently under review for Holocaust education programs nationally.
You may read more about it and Elyn in an exclusive author interview (published in Compulsive Reader) here. Or, for a review of Samuel in the Quantum Field, click here.
Currently, Elyn is working on a book inspired by her many years of learning and teacher training in Kabbalah.
